United in Service: Honoring 9/11

United in Service project day

A GENERATION OF VETERANS ANSWERED THE CALL

September 11, 2022 marks 21 years since the devastating terrorist attacks of 9/11/01. In the wake of 9/11, a generation of veterans answered the call to serve with The Mission Continues.

In the 21 years since 9/11, veterans have continued to step up. They’ve worked to improve under-resourced communities, responded to natural disasters, and tackled food insecurity.

Through service, they created connections and relationships that deepened their sense of belonging and purpose, and most importantly, were empowered to continue their impact by choosing service over self.

The work is making a difference for their communities and for each other. In 2022, we are being called to serve our communities once again. Our mission is clear, and we need you to join us, united in service, this September.
