Travel Update:

Your travel arrangements have been made through TravelPerk, The Mission Continues’ official travel platform. If you haven’t received your travel confirmation yet, please check your spam, junk, or blocked email folders—just in case it landed there.

Air travel: All participants will need to present a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or a valid U.S. passport at the airport—please ensure your identification is up to date before your departure. If you’re traveling on a red-eye or early morning flight and arriving outside of the standard check-in window, hotel accommodations will be arranged for you.

Driving to Tampa: Plan to arrive at the hotel—Embassy Suites Westshore—on June 19 between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to check in and go through the Expo.

Training update:

On May 7th you received an email from LearnUpon, titled, “Denita White invited you to the Operation Tampa Bay Blitz 2025 learning group” letting you know you’ve been invited to enroll in your required training courses. Each course is self-paced and will equip you with the skills and knowledge to enhance your Mass Deployment experience. You have until May 30th to complete your training.

As a participant in The Mission Continues’ 2025 Mass Deployment—Operation Tampa Bay Blitz—you have the opportunity to make a direct impact on a city known for its resilience, military roots, and unwavering sense of community. This veteran-led week of high-impact service projects brings together veterans, volunteers, and local partners to uplift underserved neighborhoods while reigniting purpose among those who served. 

To help out even more, each participant has the opportunity to fundraise whatever they can through a personalized peer-to-peer fundraising page. By participating as a fundraiser, you are automatically eligible for some AMAZING prizes – and trust us – you don’t want to miss out on these!

It’s super easy to do! As part of our ninth annual Mass Deployment, this expo is a cornerstone event designed to directly support our participants in their continued service and leadership. The expo will bring together veterans, community partners, and civic leaders to facilitate meaningful connections, provide access to essential resources, and highlight career and wellness opportunities.
