Texans Can Academies is striving to provide the highest quality education for all students, especially those who have struggled in a traditional high school setting, in order to ensure their economic independence. 1st Platoon and community volunteers want to help the Senior Class of 2017 to complete the following projects: Paint and stencil school values on inside pillars Work on the baseball bleachers Work on the cement walkway Spread out sand in the baseball field Sand paper inside stage Paint dragon & eagle logo on basketball wall Install new outdoor tarps from tornado damage Install new class room doors Build an outdoor garden green house & planter boxes Come out and join us as we help the Class of 2017 Leave their Legacy. Please get the word out and begin signing up for the event. We need all the volunteers as we can possible. This is a large project and it will be a full day event. We will need volunteers for the preparation day and the clean-up/tool inventory at the end of the day. If you are interested in either one of these teams please let me know. Please be sure to sign up if you plan on attending! We do need an accurate head count in order to plan the project accordingly and to provide enough food for our volunteers.
