Memorial Day Observance at Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we invite you to join us and the Leadership Miami Alumni at Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center for a day of service that is both meaningful and transformative. As we commemorate Memorial Day, we honor and pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.
Whispering Manes Therapeutic Riding Center’s mission is to support children and adults with special needs or disabilities by providing opportunities to interact with specially trained horses in a way that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
This volunteer project will focus on: • Restoring and creating sensory activation displays to enhance accessibility and expand the therapy center’s programs • Constructing a new paddock for horse exercise • Completing the sensory trail
