Do Good Multnomah Ruck March

May 25, 2026

06:30 AM - 01:00 PM PDT

Portland Platoon

Event overview

Join Travis Manion Foundation and local volunteers in support of the Do Good Multnomah Ruck March, an event raising funds to provide houseless Veterans with essential supportive services.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to support the event in one of two ways:

  • Registration Table Support: Assist at the registration table located at the start/finish line by helping check in participants and welcoming attendees. Volunteers may choose to sit or stand throughout the event. Please note that the registration area is located on uneven lawn grass, and restrooms are available in a neighboring building.
  • Water Table Support: Help staff water stations along the route for Veterans and inspired civilians participating in the event. Volunteers may choose to sit or stand, and water table locations are generally ADA accessible on sidewalks.

Coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided, and lunch will be available for volunteers who stay through the day.

Dogs on leash may accompany participants during the event, and volunteers of all ages are welcome to participate.

Together, we can support Veterans, strengthen our community, and continue the mission through service.

This project will honor the life and legacy of SPC Zandra Walker, USA.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
