In Honor of MLK Day: Building a Legacy, The Travis Manion Foundation will be partnering with Bridge the Gap and other community partners for a day of impact and community connection. Bridge the Gap is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families in need across Northeast Florida. Through food distribution, transportation assistance, and personal care programs, they help bridge critical gaps for thousands of underserved residents each week. 🌟 What’s Happening? We’re partnering with Bridge the Gap to continue Dr. King’s mission of service. This day goes beyond volunteering—it’s a chance to unite, reflect, and honor his legacy by building a stronger, healthier community. 🔧 Volunteer projects will include: Working in the community garden, replacing raised garden beds, and refilling garden beds with fresh soil 📍 Where & When Location: Bridge the Gap 561 W 25th St, Jacksonville, FL 32206 Date & Time: 🗓️ Friday, January 24th, 2025 🕘 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon 🎖️ Be Part of Something Bigger - Why You Should Be There This MLK Day, honor Dr. King’s legacy by giving back to the community. What to Bring

Bring a smile and a positive attitude! Bring any personal medications or allergy supplies. We’ll be outdoors, so wear a hat for sun protection. Gloves, sunscreen, and bug spray will be provided. Ants and mosquitoes may be present, so please plan accordingly.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
