DFW Veterans Produce Gereenhouse

We are assisting Veterans Produce, an organization focused on fighting food insecurity among veterans. Our work includes greenhouse maintenance, such as cleaning, organizing, and checking equipment, as well as potentially harvesting fresh produce. This hands-on project supports the organization’s mission by helping sustain year-round food production for veterans and their families in need.

What to Bring

Please wear comfortable clothing you don't mind getting dirty, along with closed-toe shoes or boots suitable for working in a greenhouse. Bring a reusable water bottle, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), and garden gloves if you have them. All tools and materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own gloves or kneepads for added comfort.

Inclement Weather

In the event of rain or extreme weather, we will shift focus to indoor tasks such as organizing supplies, preparing produce packaging materials, or supporting admin tasks for Veterans Produce. You will be notified via email or text the morning of the event if any schedule changes occur.
