Operation Tampa Bay Blitz- Wednesday- PREP DAY

June 18, 2025

09:00 AM - 04:00 PM EDT

Tampa Platoon

Event overview

This is the second of three prep days leading up to our five days of service for this year's Mass Deployment- Operation Tampa Bay Blitz. Tasks might include: unpacking trucks, sorting and staging materials, cutting lumber, and more. We ask that you remain flexible during these prep days as tasks may shift or change or we may be waiting on a delivery. If times or locations change, we will email all registered volunteers.

Join us anytime during the day! Lunch and water will be provided. Thanks for your help in ensuring the upcoming 5 days of service are a success!

Operation Tampa Bay Blitz:
Get ready to witness the power of a veteran-led community impact with our 9th Annual Mass Deployment! This electrifying team-based service event brings together veterans, local partners, and volunteers in a single city for an entire week of non-stop action.

From June 20-24, we will be partnering with seven local organizations to complete transformational projects that will boost the current efforts of the partner and impact local community members. Our projects will be taking place in the greater Tampa area. For more information visit our website.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
