Annual Vietnam Veterans Day Ruck as ONE w/ TMF NYC

March 29, 2025

09:00 AM - 12:30 PM EDT

New York City Platoon

Event overview

Let's join the Travis Manion Foundation and the New York City Platoon as we gather with the veteran community for a 3.1-mile ruck from the USS Intrepid to the Vietnam Memorial Wall on Water Street. As part of this tribute, we will receive a folded flag from the USS Intrepid and ruck it to the Vietnam Memorial Wall, where it will be presented to a deserving warrior.

ALL are welcome to join us in this powerful display of gratitude, remembrance, and support. Whether you choose to ruck or simply stand alongside us to say “thank you” and “welcome home,” your presence makes a difference.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
