Calling all Veterans! Help us keep Columbus’ oldest park looking beautiful. Join the Columbus Platoon and Friends of Goodale Park for a rewarding day of service.

Event Details:

  • Date: Saturday, November 2nd
  • Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
  • Location: 120 West Goodale Street, Columbus, OH (Enter at Park Street, meet at the Caretaker’s House)

What You’ll Do:

  • Litter cleanup
  • Weeding and mulching
  • Tree pruning and gardening

What to Bring:

  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Gloves (if you have them)
  • Garden tools (we’ll have extras if needed)

Free chili will be provided for all volunteers!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
