Phoenix Platoon

Event overview

Honor Veterans and Serve with Tiger Mountain Foundation!

Join The Mission Continues and our community partner, Tiger Mountain Foundation, as we recognize and honor veterans for their service. This is a day to give back while working with fellow veterans and community members.

Our Mission:
We'll dig out an existing dirt water channel, remove rocks, and then line the channel with concrete and fresh rocks. This hands-on project will be accompanied by great conversations and camaraderie as we work together.

What We Provide:
Lunch, water, gloves, and sunscreen
Restrooms are available on-site
TMC check-in table will be located under the sun shades at the east end of the garden
No prior experience is needed—bring your energy and enthusiasm!
Join us for a day of service, connection, and impact.

Together, we'll improve the space and show our gratitude to those who have served.

The Mission Continues believes in the power of every individual to make a difference. If you're passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact, we invite you to join us. From hands-on tasks to behind-the-scenes roles, there's something for everyone. No matter your physical capabilities, there's a place for you in our service projects. Together, let's build a more inclusive and compassionate world.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
