Event overview

Join Travis Manion Foundation’s Miami Service Platoon and Miami-Dade Parks at Crandon Park Beach as we come together to commemorate Earth Day through a meaningful day of service. This special volunteer event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Crandon Park Beach. Volunteers will work alongside park staff to help protect and preserve the park’s vital coastal sand dune habitats by restoring dunes, removing invasive species, and planting native vegetation essential to the health of our shoreline. Our Earth Day signature service project highlights the importance of conserving natural coastal resources while offering fun, family-friendly conservation activities. By participating, you will play an active role in safeguarding Miami-Dade County’s unique and fragile ecosystems and making a lasting environmental impact. Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
