9/11 Day Of Service

September 09, 2017

08:00 AM - 04:00 PM MDT

Colorado Springs Platoon

Event overview

To kick off our week of service in remembrance of 9/11 we will start off by doing some flood mitigation work at Palmer Park. A part of the park is being washed away by excessive rain waters and flash flooding. We need your help to build a new path for excess water to go and direct it into a safe area. If you like to serve and want to give back, we want you!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
