Event overview

In partnership with Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity and Major League Baseball, the Cleveland 1st Platoon will join more than 100 volunteers for a neighborhood sustainability project in the Clark-Fulton neighborhood of Cleveland as part of All-Star Week! Space is limited, and you must be 16 or older to volunteer, so register ASAP! ***Please Register with us on this page AND with MLB at: https://www.mlb.com/forms/all-star-volunteer Under "Affiliation", put "The Mission Continues" ------------------------- Activities include: - Plant bushes along fence line of St. Rocco’s Church playing field - Perform yard work and landscape homes of existing residents and homes Habitat is rehabbing on Roehl Avenue - Debris removal from yards of existing residents and vacant lots on Roehl Avenue - Painting foundations, steps and railings of homes of existing residents on Roehl Avenue - Plant Butterfly Bushes in the vacant grassy area Other volunteers include: - All-Star Green Team members from local universities - Youth softball/baseball players from the Cleveland Indians RBI program - MLB & Cleveland Indians employees - Jackie Robinson Foundation alumni - Representatives from MLB partners Join us for a day of giving back alongside our hometown team and MLB!

Closed toe shoes and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. T-shirts will be provided, but wear your TMC blue if you have it!

If driving, you may park in the St. Rocco Parish parking lot (please park your vehicles towards the back of the lot closer to West 33d street).

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
