Yabucoa Mural and American Legion Project

February 23, 2019

10:00 AM - 03:00 PM AST

Puerto Rico Platoon

Event overview

Come join The Mission Continues Puerto Rico Service Platoon as we partner with the community of Yabucoa on an impactful day of service. Considered "ground zero" after the eye of Hurricane Maria passed directly through, Yabucoa is a community that has yet to recover from the storm over a year later. The Puerto Rico Service Platoon will be supporting Yabucoa's American Legion post by amplifying their indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, as well as painting a mural in the community of La Pandura. Lunch and water will be provided for all volunteers, as well as a Puerto Rico Service Platoon blue shirt. Here is the GPS location of where all volunteers will meet at 10am: https://goo.gl/maps/xxrt7kYEbvA2
