Pathways to Service & Success Expo Empowers Veterans and Military Families in Tampa

Earlier today, The Mission Continues hosted the Pathways to Service & Success Expo in Tampa, Florida—a high-energy, high-impact event designed to support veterans, military families, and service-minded individuals as they take steps toward their next chapter.
We welcomed over 135 attendees who showed up ready to connect, learn, and grow. From career advancement to community building, today’s Expo was a powerful reminder of what’s possible when purpose-driven people come together.
Highlights from the Expo
Professional Growth & Development Participants had the chance to get free professional headshots to boost their LinkedIn and resumes, work with top HR professionals to refine their resumes, and sit down for one-on-one coaching sessions to plan their next steps.
Wellness & Community Connection The Expo also spotlighted wellness organizations committed to the mental, emotional, and physical health of veterans and their families. The atmosphere was vibrant, welcoming, and full of meaningful connections.
Real Opportunities, Real Impact Attendees connected with an inspiring lineup of organizations, including CarMax, a company actively hiring and supporting veterans as they transition into the civilian workforce; New Politics Leadership Academy, which empowers service-driven individuals to lead in civic life; and dozens of veteran-forward businesses, nonprofits, and wellness providers offering tailored resources and meaningful support.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP)
Assisting veterans through the Warrior to Work program with career support, mental health services, and benefits navigation.
Offers transitional and affordable housing, case management, and tailored support services aimed at stability and self-sufficiency for Florida’s veteran community.
Transforming veterans into civic leaders through the New Politics Leadership Academy, which offers intensive training, mentorship, and networking to empower service-minded individuals to drive meaningful community change.
Helping veterans and military spouses succeed in entrepreneurship by teaching them to transform business ideas into strategic plans, with a virtual class in August for national participation.
Empowers veterans and their families to pursue creative outlets, and/or artistic careers by collaborating with seasoned professionals. Helping them unlock their full artistic potential, while raising awareness of the suicide rate.

CareSource Military & Veterans™ participates in the TRICARE Prime® Demo and offers eligible families in Tampa and Atlanta an additional TRICARE Prime option. We provide local support, simplified access to health care and guidance designed to meet the real-life needs of military families navigating care choices.
