Event overview

In October Chicago 1st Service Platoon took on the challenge of creating a garden for the students at Burke Elementary School. Because winter was approaching we decided to do it in two stages. Stage one was completed in October now it's time to finish the project. I'm calling all platoon members and community members to come out and help us finish this project. The garden will provide fresh produce for the students and their families and be used as an educational tool to teach the students about healthy eating.
