Come join The Mission Continues- Houston 2nd Service platoon as we kick off our first social of 2016 at Karbach Brewing Co. Saturday, Jan. 30th. We will have food catered (company TBD) for platoon members and their family on site so come hungry, ready to eat, and to talk about an upcoming service project in Independent Heights. Children and dogs are welcome at Karbach as we will be outside in Biergarden for the duration of social.
The Biergarden offers few activities for everyone to enjoy (cornhole, Jenga, live entertainment on stage on Saturdays, some of the best food trucks and GREAT Houston craft beer).
Karbach will be offering tours every hour on the hour starting at 1pm. Staff will lead you through areas of production to explain the company history, brewing process, and brewing philosophy at Karbach. Questions are welcomed and guides will be available to answer them at conclusion of tour.
Tour Space is limited to 25 people (FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.. NO RESERVATIONS). Closed- toed shoes are required.
** The Mission Continues cannot pay for alcohol so that will be up to you to purchase.**
Admission is $8 for a 9 oz glass and 4 tokens or $12 for a pint and 3 tokens. TOKENS ARE REDEEMABLE FOR BIERGARTEN ONLY, NOT RESTAURANT AND PATIO. Additional tokens may be purchased.

Certain host organizations, such as schools, may prohibit volunteers with certain types of criminal convictions from participating in a service project. Accordingly, The Mission Continues is requesting your consent to conduct a criminal background check in the event that your Platoon is engaging in a service project with a host organization that requires a criminal background check. The Mission Continues does not automatically disqualify persons from Platoons based on criminal convictions.
