OPERATION- Can Do Attitude

July 06, 2026

12:00 PM - 02:00 PM MST

Phoenix Platoon

Event overview

Join Travis Manion Foundation's Phoenix Service Platoon for a meaningful day of service supporting the United Food Bank. Volunteers will help sort community food donations, organize canned goods and other essential items, and prepare them for distribution to families throughout the region.

Working together, we will also inspect donated food items, check expiration dates, and pack boxes to help ensure families in need receive safe and nutritious food. Every item sorted and every box packed helps strengthen food security within our community.

This is an indoor service project, so volunteers can stay comfortable while making a direct impact. Drinks will be available throughout the event to help everyone stay hydrated.

Some light lifting may be involved, but accommodations will be made to support volunteers of all abilities and mobility levels. We welcome everyone who is interested in serving and giving back alongside fellow community members.

Come ready to serve, connect, and make a difference. We look forward to working alongside you in support of families across our community.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
