Join Travis Manion Foundation's Phoenix Service Platoon for an incredible day of service and impact at Desert Abundance, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cultivating a thriving 5-acre desert food forest in the heart of the Tonto National Forest!
We’ll kick things off with a guided tour of the site, followed by a hands-on instructional session where you’ll learn about deep-well planting techniques for native desert trees. Then it’s time to get to work! Volunteers will help plant 10 trees, clear dead plant matter to reduce wildfire risk, and prepare areas for walking paths and monsoon garden spaces.
After a rewarding day of service, stick around—lunch and drinks will be provided for all volunteers!
Come ready to learn, serve, and make a lasting impact!
