TMC+RTX: Serving Together in Asheville

Join The Mission Continues, RTX, and local community members for an Impactful Day of Service in Asheville!

We’re excited to return to Asheville, NC for our 2nd dedicated Day of Service at Johnston Elementary School (JES) in partnership with RTX! Serving alongside our friends at RTX and the amazing staff from JES, as well as local veterans and volunteers, we'll continue our mission of service to expand upon all the amazing work that was done back in July during the 1st dedicated Day of Service.

Potential Projects may Include:
> Updating, improving, and weatherizing the pollinator garden
> Improving the playground area by painting blacktop games
> Expand outdoor STEAM area to compliment current indoor lab
> Cleaning, organizing, and painting interior spaces

This Veterans Month, we’re not only giving back—we’re helping build spaces where curiosity, creativity, and community can thrive. Come ready to make a difference, connect with fellow volunteers, and leave a lasting mark on the Asheville community!

We'll have plenty of snacks and hydration to keep us going throughout the day. Lunch will also be provided at the conclusion of the service project.
