United in Service in Remembrance of 911

In honor of the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, the Killeen Platoon of The Mission Continues will return to the Girl Scouts of Central Texas Clubhouse for a meaningful day of impact, unity, and community service. Volunteers will come together to: Repair the second portion of the Clubhouse’s privacy fence Build a pergola to enhance outdoor space and programming Conduct a police call and beautify the surrounding grounds This day of service will also serve as a special farewell and celebration of our dedicated Platoon Leader, Juanita Myers, as she marks her final day in leadership. We will honor her incredible contributions, celebrate her accomplishments, and send her off with gratitude and pride. Whether you're a long-time volunteer or new to the mission, we welcome you to join us in making a difference while commemorating those we lost and those who continue to serve. All are welcome.
