Community Garden Support Project

We will help build and assemble concrete tables for the Dorchester Community Garden. With this support project, we are contributing to the mission of NeighborSpace, a nonprofit urban land trust in Chicago that preserves and sustains gardens on behalf of dedicated community groups.

The Mission Continues Chicago Platoon will assist in carrying out NeighborSpace’s mission to support community gardening groups, allowing them to focus on their community-building vision—generating food, beauty, play, health, and safety within our neighborhoods.
