Join Us for Earth Month at Compton VFW (Update: date changed to April 5, 2025)

Come together with Los Angeles Platoon on April 5, 2025, at Compton VFW to make a meaningful impact in our community. This is your chance to experience the camaraderie and teamwork from working alongside veterans and community members. Whether you’re a veteran or not, you’ll gain a unique perspective on service as we all unite to give back to under-resourced communities.

Through your efforts, you'll help foster a sense of purpose, connection, and growth among those who have served our country. Report for duty in your community and be part of something bigger.

During this project we will be doing the following activities: Refresh and revitalize indoor or outdoor spaces by applying new coats of paint, focusing on walls, fences, or other surfaces to improve aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces from wear and tear. Maintain and enhance existing garden areas by weeding, pruning and removing debris to promote healthy growth and a clean environment.
