Tribute Mile -WB

February 23, 2025

06:00 AM - 10:00 AM CST

DFW Platoon

Event overview

The Wear Blue Tribute Mile is a remarkable opportunity to attach faces to the names of fallen service members lost in service to our country - thereby creating a bridge between our military and the community while humanizing the profound cost of war.

We will display 175 posters of fallen service members along our mile, lovingly provided by their friends and families. Following these posters, dedicated volunteers like you will hold full-sized American flags - each adorned with ribbons bearing the names of those we honor.

Together, we will celebrate their service and sacrifice, ensuring their legacy lives on in our hearts as runners pass through our mile.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
