Earth Day Service Project - The Mission Continues

On Saturday, April 26, 2025, The Mission Continues is returning to All Things Women, Inc in Detroit, MI for our Earth Day-inspired service project!

We’re calling on volunteers to design a children's play area and beautify the outdoor areas, including:

  • Enhancing the outdoor space with landscaping, clean-up, and weed barriers
  • Painting blacktop game boards to brighten the area and provide outside games
  • Planting bushes and flowers for a more inviting environment
  • Assembling and installing a shed to provide a secure space for kids' outdoor toys

Your support will help create a safe, calm, and enjoyable outdoor area for women and children in transitional housing. No special skills are required—just bring your enthusiasm and dedication to service!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
