Join Us for an Earth Day Service Project at Shady Lane Elementary

We’re calling on volunteers to help enhance learning spaces and outdoor areas by:

  • Painting several rooms to create a fresh, welcoming environment
  • Building flexible seating for the Reflection Room
  • Creating a sensory board to support student engagement and development
  • Enhancing the outdoor area to create a more inviting space for students and the community

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
