Join Us to package meal boxes for people in need in the Greater Boston Area at the Greater Boston Food Bank. We’ll be working in the warehouse, inspecting, sorting, and repacking donated food and grocery products. Some volunteers will load boxes onto conveyor belts, some inspect or sort products, and others check and label boxes. While a few of these tasks require the ability to lift a 30 pound box, most tasks require a volunteer to stand and inspect products or package boxes.
*Minimum volunteer age is 16. Participants ages 16 & 17 must have a parent/guardian participant.
*Please remember to wear closed-toed shoes for your shift (no sandals or flip flops).

Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) does provide parking on a first come basis while visiting 70 South Bay Avenue. Heading down Topeka, when arriving at South Bay Avenue, turn LEFT and the lot entrance is halfway down the block. There is a gate that will rise upon entry. GBFB will provide tokens for exit after the visit. Please do not park in the clinic parking lot (to the right) as you will be towed.
