Food Pantry Stocking and Garden Bed Maintenance at Lassen Elementary School

Our primary objective will be to assist with stocking the school's food pantry for community members to "shop" the following day. We will be moving and unloading boxes of produce and stocking refrigerators. Secondarily, depending on time, we will work in the raised garden bed area weeding and other tasks as needed. The Mission Continues believes in the power of every individual to make a difference. If you're passionate about giving back to the community and making a positive impact, we invite you to join us. From hands-on tasks to behind-the-scenes roles, there's something for everyone. No matter your physical capabilities, there's a place for you in our service projects. Together, let's build a more inclusive and compassionate world. Please note: the garden bed area is very uneven terrain but the food pantry is more even. Water and gloves will be provided. **We will meet at the pedestrian gate south of Vineyard along the fenceline on S. 9th Avenue for check in then proceed to the food pantry as a group.
