Service Project

Operation for the Childrens Phase 2

November 09, 2024

08:00 AM - 02:00 PM AST

Puerto Rico Platoon

Event overview

To honor and celebrate our military Veterans the Puerto Rico Platoon invites you to join us for a day of service and unity at Violanta Jimenez Elementary School for Phase 2. This project isn’t just about giving back—it’s about honoring the ongoing sacrifices made by our Armed Forces and coming together as a community to create something meaningful.

Our tasks will include clearing brush, building 4 raise beds, planting flowers and fruit trees, beatification of the area, building a shade structure and more.

This is more than volunteer work—it's a chance to connect with others, reflect and make a lasting impact in our community. Whether you’re a veteran, a family member, or a dedicated community member, your participation will make a difference. Together, we’ll honor the past by making PR stronger, better, and more connected. Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of something truly special!

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
