Event overview

Dear Mission Continues Family, We are excited to extend a special invitation to join us in supporting Blue Hole Farm, a cherished partner in our local community. As part of our ongoing commitment to making a difference, we are gearing up to lend a hand in a nature-based project that’s close to our hearts. Event Details: Date: 10/19/2024 Time: 9AM-5PM (2 shifts) Location: Tennessee Nature Academy - 7533 Lords Chapel Dr Nashville, TN 37211 Why We’re Volunteering: The Tennessee Nature Academy has been instrumental in creating enriching experiences for students in the Antioch-Cane Ridge community. This local event was a great success last year, thanks to the incredible support from volunteers and community members who enjoyed a vibrant pumpkin patch, live music, and more. No experience is needed—just a willingness to roll up your sleeves and contribute a few hours of your time. What You’ll Experience: Community Building: Booth set up to meet fellow veterans and make new friends while supporting a cause that brings joy to many. How to get involved: Please let us know if you can join us so we can coordinate accordingly. Your participation not only supports a fantastic local farm but also strengthens the bonds within our Mission Continues family and the broader community. We look forward to spending a rewarding day together, helping to cultivate not just pumpkins, but also our community spirit.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
