Event overview

🌍✨ Join Us for an Earth Day Celebration! ✨🌍 🌱 Ready to make a difference? This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to our planet and enjoy a day filled with meaningful activities and community spirit. 🌟 Before you get excited: 1️⃣ Register here first! 2️⃣ Then, secure your spot by registering on the Miami Dade County Park Link: https://miamidadeparks.com/FL/miami-dade-county-parks-recreation/catalog?filter=c2VhcmNoPTEyOTU4NTk=. PLEASE don't forget this step; failure to register on BOTH platforms will result in losing a spot. 🔥 What’s on the agenda? 🌳 Planting Native Species: Dive into the heart of Pine Rockland restoration areas to plant native flora and help our ecosystem thrive. 🚫 Removing Invasive Plants: Team up to clear our trails of unwelcome plants, protecting our native landscapes. 🚮 Litter Cleanup: Embark on a quest to identify and pick up litter and debris, keeping our park pristine and wildlife safe. 🌟 Earth Day is one of my favorite projects of the year, and I’m super excited to see everyone come out and make a significant impact in the community. Let’s have fun and make Earth Day 2024 a memorable one! See you soon! 💚

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
