Community Garden Build with VFW 4443

Hello Austin Community! Come out and join us assist Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4443 in Oak Hill continue building out their community garden. The garden will serve as a place of tranquility, peace, service, and goodwill by growing, maintaining, harvesting, and beautifying the greenspace. It will be a place for members, their families, and the community to enjoy the fruits of their labor, learn new skills, and come together as a whole community. We will be weeding, mulching, spreading soil, prepping the garden for the opening ceremony in March. If you'd like to support local veterans, their families, and organizations who support them join us on February 24, 2024 from 10a to 1p. We'd love to have you there! Snacks and beverages will be provided.
