Event overview

Every person that volunteers with the OC Food Bank will be an empowering force to helping change our community. Volunteers will be working on assembly lines packing a variety of food items into boxes that will be serving 25,500 low-income seniors monthly. These boxes will eventually be distributed to over 70 sites all throughout Orange County and surrounding areas. This event is high energy, fast-paced. People will lift anywhere from 1 pound up to 50 pounds. Most of the event will require people to do repetitious tasks. There are different tasks available for different skill levels and physical limitations. Safety Guidelines Dress code is CLOSED-TOED SHOES. NO SANDALS. Preferably tennis shoes You will be working in a warehouse, dress accordingly and in comfortable clothes. The warehouse utilizes forklifts and heavy moving equipment, if children are present they must be properly supervised by their parental guardian. Check-in Through the main warehouse entrance located in the back of the building With the Food Bank Supervisor. Parking Located at back of the warehouse
