Service Project

Boulder City Veterans Memorial Cemetery - Grounds Cleaning

May 20, 2023

06:30 AM - 12:00 PM PDT

Las Vegas Platoon

Event overview

Please join the Las Vegas service platoon as we support the Boulder City Veterans Cemetery groundskeeping staff and assist them with edging headstones and grounds clean-up efforts to prepare for Memorial Day.

The Southern Nevada State Veterans Cemetery (SNVMC) is located on 79 acres of land owned and maintained by the State of Nevada. The grounds are serene and peaceful. The cemetery serves as a place of rest and reflection where eligible veterans, their spouses, and eligible dependents are remembered and honored in perpetuum.

Please help us remember the veterans that have served our country this Memorial Day by helping to improve their final resting place.

Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
