Winter Donation Drive for Needy The Rochester Platoon will partner with local corporation CooperVision and the below listed community organizations and partners to collect donations of new or gently used blankets, new socks, and non-perishable canned foods to supply and nourish local homeless persons and veterans in need and to resupply the area’s food banks. This project will run from posting date through January 15th, 2022. Blankets must be new or gently used and CLEAN; socks must be NEW; food items are listed below: Peanut butter; Jelly Canned soups, fruit, vegetables, stews Canned fish (tuna, sardines, etc) Crackers, cookies Pasta, rice, Pasta sauces Condiments There are several collection points where donations can be dropped off: Chuck Graham’s house: 32 Mulcahy Blvd, Rochester, NY 14624 The Firing Pin, 8240 Buffalo Road, Bergen, NY 14416 Chili Community Center, 3237 Chili Ave, Chili, NY 14624 The Al Sigl Community of Agencies, 1000 Elmwood, Unit 300, Rochester, NY 14620
