Spring Up The Courtyard

Event overview

Join Houston 1st platoon as they return to Kashmere Gardens Elementary to spring-up their courtyard. Volunteers are needed to build garden boxes, pressure wash buildings, paint murals, plant flowers, and build outdoor classrooms. We look forward to sprucing up the courtyard for these students and hope to see you there. Breakfast and registration will start at 8:30 so that we can start the project promptly at 9:00.

The Mission Continues Blue T-Shirt (if you don't have one we'll issue it to you), close toe shoes, clothing that can get dirty.

What to Bring

Safety Gear (gloves and glasses), Sun Screen, Mosquito Spray.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
