Event overview

In memoriam of retired Navy Chief Hospital Corpsman (HMC), Heidi Sharon Amato, who recently passed after a 2nd battle with cancer back in June 2019. The “Heidi’s House” Memorial Project is Phase 1 of a pilot program by W.A.G. Healing to explore and strengthen the Human & Animal bond toward healing. The first “tiny cabin” will temporarily house Mack & Stella (Heidi’s surviving furry animals) and provide space for both animals and visiting Volunteer Caretakers to heal and connect. Join us in helping this amazing organization complete their first build. We will be painting, re-purposing some fencing, and moving mulch. This event is not recommended for minors under 13 years old. ***
