35-40 staff from the Seattle Seahawks and leadership team members of The Mission Continues will conduct a service project at Nisei Veterans Committee's Hall. The scope of works will include cleaning and painting the roof, weeding and laying gravels at the memorial wall, trimming vegetation, pressure washing the parking lot, general cleaning of the museum and kitchen. The project could end with a condensed tour for the participants of the Nisei Veterans Museum, highlighting the incredible story of the 442nd Combat Team, the most decorated unit of all branches during WW II, made up entirely of Japanese American soldiers while their families were interned back in the United States.
