Celebrate Veterans Day with Habitat for Humanity

Event overview

Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans. On this Veterans Day 2018, the Tampa 1st Service Platoon invites you to join our veteran volunteers and community members for an impactful day of service with Habitat for Humanity Hillsborough County. We will be supporting Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County Home Preservation program to provide exterior painting, landscaping, and fence repair for a veteran. This is an ages 16+ project, and we will have lunch and water onsite for volunteers. Come make a difference with us, and dedicate your service to honor those who have served! ***We will update the actual location for the project once we have the address confirmed.

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
