Farming with Up 2 Us Sports at Alemany Farms

Up 2 Us Sports joins us to commemorate the legendary work of Chaser Chavez. We have a lot of work to do at Alemany Farms. Plan to spend some time outside in the lovely redwoods and Lavender fields on the farm as we help the farm volunteers improve their grounds. Project Scope: Invasive species removal, clearing waterways. Native plant are being choked out by overgrown grasses, weeds and fallen debris from past storms. We are going to free these plants and trees but removing material down to the soil and providing protective measures for the plants that remain. There is a small creek that has become blocked by storm debris. We are going to clear this waterway and provide some protective measures to ensure the water flow doe snot become disrupted again.
