Operation Face Lift Phase 2

Join us for MLK Day of Service 2026 at BARC for Phase 2 in Davie as we work together to refresh and renew our residents’ living spaces! Volunteers will help replace cabinets, sand and paint tables, and set up seasonal decorations to create bright, cheerful common areas for everyone to enjoy. Volunteer Projects Include: 🧰 Cabinet Replacement: Replace 5 tall cabinets in the common areas of each house (15 total) Replace 2 four-door cabinets in each of the 3 team offices (6 total) Replace one four-drawer cabinet with a pull-out drawer in each team office (3 total) 🎨 Table Restoration: Sand and paint the tables in each home: House A: 4 tables House B: 4 tables House C: 3 tables (one table to be replaced) Paint Colors by House: House A: Behr Epiphany House B: Behr Carefree Sky House C: Behr Flowing Breeze Landscaping: removing debris, planting bushes and flowers to brighten the outside area, pressure washing and mulching. This is a wonderful opportunity to get hands-on, connect with others, and make a visible difference in the homes of our BARC residents. All materials and tools will be provided — just bring your energy and teamwork!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
