MLK Event: TMC, Gardopia Gardens, & Hearts Need Art @ Audie Murphy VA Hospital

TMC San Antonio Platoon has partnered with Audie Murphy VA Hospital (Psychology Department), Gardopia Gardens, and Hearts Need Art to create a beautification project in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. day. This project will include restoring 4 garden beds, planting seasonal vegetables, fruit, and flowers, mulching, and painting a mural with local artists. Veterans and community partners will work together to create a peaceful and creative environment, while creating a space for Veterans to learn to grow and prepare their own food. *Audie Murphy VA Hospital will require all participants to be fully vaccinated and will have a process to follow.
