Operation Support Our Parks

Calling all TMC members to show your love for our National Parks with a really fun and impactful project at Mt Rainier National Park. We have the option of taking advantage of beautiful campsites, made available for us on both nights, Friday - August 2nd and Saturday - August 3rd. Friday, August 2, 2019 Longmire Campsite Check-in: 4-5 p.m. Dinner (camping food): 6-7 p.m. Bondfire: 8 - 9:30 pm . *** Saturday, August 3, 2019 Breakfast 7:00 - 8:00 am Carpooling to Paradise - Henry Jackson Visitor Center - NLT 9:00 a.m. / check-in for same Introduction/Ranger Safety brief - 9:15-9:30 am Group photo Work Crew assigned 10:00 am - Work (part 1) Lunch Work - part 2 Finish 2:30 pm Head back to Longmire by 4 pm Personal time - 4 - 5:30 pm Dinner at 6 pm Eco-Therapy 7-8:30 pm Bondfire - 8:30 - 10 pm *** Sunday, August 4, 2019 Breakfast 9-10 am Cleanup 10-11 am Departure NLT 11:30 am This event is made possible with the support of the National Parks Services, the Wounded Warrior Project, Bank of America, National Parks Conservation Association, King County YMCA, BlackRock Vets /network and Subaru of America.
