Event Overview

The Mission Continues Puerto Rico Service Platoon is joining forces with the National Parks Conservation Association and the National Park Service for an INCREDIBLE two day service project at El Morro! This project is in honor of Independence Day El Morro has a rich military history with the Spanish and American militaries, and was declared a World Heritage Site by the United Nations. The fort has sustained damage from Hurricane Maria, so we will need 50 volunteers each day for a total of 100 The Mission Continues volunteers to come together and help beautify El Morro. Volunteers will be taking on a huge painting project inside the fort, in addition to other repair work. Lunch and water will be provided to all volunteers, and this opportunity is open to youth and families.
