Please join The Mission Continues DC Service Platoons, our wonderful partners at Community Services Foundation, and some very special guests from Veterans for American Ideals, for a powerful day of service and storytelling in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's legacy. The day will begin some much needed TLC at Glenarden Community Center in Prince George's, MD. and will be followed by a panel of enthralling story tellers who have overcome adversity and found success through an adherence the values and virtues of Dr. King. Family members and friends are welcome and snacks and t-shirts will be provided for all volunteers.

Casual attire and a TMC t-shirt if you have one. The project will be primarily indoors but may require some minor outdoor cleanup.

A friend and a positive attitude!

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
