Now that we have completed the pathway, we as a platoon are moving on to assist our new partners, The Ethiopian Community Center.

As a platoon we assisted the Wounded Warrior Program back in August with installing a new bulletin board and cleaning up around the local businesses.

The ECS’s mission is to facilitate a seamless integration of all persons of Ethiopian origin with mainstream United States. Additionally, ECS aims to contribute to the social, cultural and civic life of the Puget Sound Area as well as assisting Ethiopians and Ethiopian-Americans to preserve and share their ancient and rich cultural heritage.

The projects mission is to demo, paint and install a new desk, Indoors! The ECS will also be providing lunch.

With the help of our Rainier Beach Partners including Rainier Beach: Beautiful Safe Place for Youth and the Rainier Beach Merchants Association, we look forward to seeing you there
