Philly 1st Platoon Block Wall Party

March 12, 2016

10:00 AM - 03:00 PM EST

Philadelphia Platoon

Event overview

The Mission Continues 1st Platoon Philadelphia is mobilizing once again to help improve the lives of residents transitioning at The Philadelphia Veterans Group. Platoon members will create a safe place so that these men and women have a greater chance to overcome challenges and find success in Philadelphia.Together, we will demolish an old dilapidated perimeter block wall and assist in constructing a new block wall. We are in need of volunteers who have experience in masonry or just enjoy working outside. Anyone with masonry skills and tools should contact Jose directly at jmartinez@missioncontinues.org Because of the nature of the work, we ask that no children below the age of 13 years of age attend. Thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.
