25 years ago the world stood still as America was attacked by terrorists on September 11th, a day we will never forget. Join Travis Manion Foundation's Hampton Roads Service Platoon to honor the lives lost on that day for our service project at the Wesley Community Service Center to make a meaningful impact in our community. This is your chance to experience the camaraderie and teamwork from working alongside veterans and community members.
Whether you’re a veteran or not, you’ll gain a unique perspective on service as we all unite to give back to under-resourced communities.
Through your efforts, you'll help foster a sense of purpose, connection, and growth among those who have served our country. Report for duty in your community and be part of something bigger. Serve at home and make a difference where it matters most as we create a Head Start, a recreation center, a clothes closet, food pantry and an event center. This project is a continuation of a months-long effort to transform the community space to serve more families and provide more resources.
