Event overview

Join Orlando Platoon as we assist with a local Veterans Health Fair put on by the City of Orlando and the Orlando VA Outreach! Volunteers will be helping with tabling for TMC, giving away flyers, and any additional assistance that the event leaders may require. Those with medical backgrounds may be asked to help perform free blood pressure and pulse checks. If you are willing and able to assist for BP/Pulse checks, please bring your own stethoscope and BP Cuff. If you have an automatic BP cuff, feel free to bring it to help the BP team (please label it with your information so it gets back to you after the event). Who We Are

In 2025, Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) acquired The Mission Continues, bringing two best-in-class organizations together to provide more opportunities for veterans to find community, lead, and serve. Guided by the ethos “If Not Me, Then Who…,” veterans continue their service, build connections, and thrive in their post-military lives by serving as character role models to youth. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation’s heroes lives on in the next generation. Learn more about TMF at travismanion.org

Who should volunteer?

Our service projects are for all veterans with a desire to continue their service and for all non-veterans that want to be part of a nationwide movement to transform communities. Please note, age and accessibility accommodations can be made at any project. There is room for everyone to make an impact.
